Donate to SOS Children's Village

Thank you very much – a wonderful gesture from our colleague!

At Swietelsky-Faber, there is a bonus of €500 for published project reports. Our colleague Bozo Bozovic from the Hamburg branch submitted a great project report in the spring – and decided not to keep his bonus for himself, but to donate it to the SOS Children's Village in Seekirchen (near Salzburg).

Bozo grew up near Seekirchen – which makes his decision to give something back to the region all the more pleasing. Our management, led by Tatjana Brunbauer, was so enthusiastic about this gesture that Swietelsky-Faber doubled the donation amount.

This week, we were able to present a donation cheque for 1,000€ to the SOS Children's Village.

Mr. Johannes Scheck from the SOS Children's Village took the time to guide us through the children's village and show how children who, for a wide variety of reasons, cannot live with their families of origin, find a loving and protected home there. Since 1964, great things have been achieved here every day in 12 family houses.

This visit was moving – and a valuable reminder of how important solidarity is – and how much even small gestures can achieve.
