Swietelsky-Faber Golf Charity Tournament: An Event Full of Warmth and Commitment

In mid-May, the Swietelsky-Faber Golf Charity Tournament took place for the second time at the renowned Golf Club Valley.

Engagement beyond business life

In the run-up to the international IFAT trade fair, the company led by Managing Director Jörg Brunecker invited numerous international business partners and customers to engage once outside business life and do something good in the process. An undertaking that fully paid off.

A spirited tournament day

After a nine-hole tournament with more than 50 participants and team scoring, the day ended in a spirited atmosphere at the club restaurant. During a shared barbecue, the good mood continued, and when Universal Lighthouse was able to present its projects in a photo and video presentation, even the hard-boiled managers were moved by what they saw.

Warmth and commitment

However, this did not dampen the atmosphere, but instead added a pleasant warmth to the rest of the event. After a ceremonial prize-giving, the event lasted well into the late hours, and Bernard and Sofia Payet, Jean Stodden and Thomas Mooser from Universal Lighthouse were engaged in very pleasant conversations in which they were able to talk about their work and experiences in Kisauni.

A very big thank you to the company Swietelsky-Faber for choosing us again as the beneficiary organisation for this event. It reflects the company's values, in which humanity and business are not in conflict. These values are embodied by Managing Director Jörg Brunecker, Freilassing branch manager Martin Wagner and Leipzig branch manager Alexander Heil, who hosted the evening in a highly appreciative and immensely committed manner and championed the projects, as well as Managing Director Tatjana Brunbauer, who unfortunately was unable to attend this time.

Thanks are also due to Marketing Manager Reingard Schmidt, who prepared the event very meticulously and put a great deal of thought into how the impact of the theme could best unfold.

All these efforts led to a proud donation sum of just over 10,000 euros being pledged.
