Swietelsky-Faber opens new location in Munich

Swietelsky-Faber is pleased to announce the opening of its new location in Munich. Since April, we have been welcoming our customers in the Bavarian state capital, in order to be even closer to the projects in Munich and the surrounding area and to provide even faster support.

A gain on many levels

"Through our presence in Munich, we can reach all deployment areas around the city even more efficiently and support projects on site even better. This is a clear gain for our customers," says authorized signatory Dipl.-Ing. Martin Wagner, head of the Southern business unit at Swietelsky-Faber GmbH.

This proximity enables shorter distances for project clarifications, which not only saves kilometres, but also protects the environment – another plus point.

Approval from the top floor

Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Jörg Brunecker emphasizes: "Customer satisfaction comes first for us, alongside employee satisfaction. Local presence is a decisive success factor for customers and employees. Due to the continued rising willingness of our clients to invest in trenchless infrastructure maintenance, we see clear growth potential in Germany. Therefore, we will expand our sales, personnel and equipment structure in order to further improve our proximity to our customers. Since the company was founded, our growth has been purely organic and has now reached a workforce of 350 employees. The short distances to our customers also have a positive effect on our environmental balance."

Industry expert Dipl.-Ing. Peter Prossliner on board

To provide optimal support for the new location in project management, Swietelsky-Faber has brought long-time industry expert Dipl.-Ing. Peter Prossliner onto the team. With over a decade of experience in trenchless pipeline construction, Mr. Prossliner has extensive knowledge in application engineering and project execution.

Additional base for the Southern business area

With the opening of the new office in Munich, the Southern business area of Swietelsky-Faber is strengthening its presence in the region. Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Peter Prossliner is responsible for the execution of the construction projects and is supported by the Southern business area under the leadership of Dipl.-Ing. Martin Wagner. Due to the favorable location in Unterschleißheim, in the office of Swietelsky Hochbau, synergies with the structural engineering team can also be used.

First projects supervised by the Munich office

Our location in Munich is already active and the first projects are being prepared and supervised. A noteworthy example is the upcoming Ammersee project, which begins in June. In this project, pipelines in the accessible profile (from 900 mm to 1350 mm) over nearly one kilometer will be rehabilitated using cured-in-place pipe lining - an impressive undertaking of this scale. Swietelsky-Faber will of course report on the progress of this project.
