Swietelsky-Faber GmbH relies on environmentally friendly innovation: First use of GeoKrete® in Germany

Swietelsky-Faber GmbH is delighted with the successful first use of the innovative GeoKrete® material from the company Vortex. As the exclusive provider of this geopolymer system in the German-speaking region for pipe rehabilitation, our team successfully rehabilitated the first shafts with this groundbreaking technology. An application in trenchless pipe rehabilitation will follow later this year.

GeoKrete® is a groundbreaking, environmentally friendly material that impresses with its high strength and resistance to temperature and chemicals. It offers a sustainable alternative to conventional cement products, which are known for their high CO2 emissions. GeoKrete® is produced through a special chemical reaction called geopolymerization and is characterized by a drastically reduced CO2 footprint. The CO2 emissions from using GeoKrete® are only 0.15 kg CO2 per square meter installed, which means a reduction of up to 95% compared with conventional methods.

With this innovation, Swietelsky-Faber is setting a new standard in trenchless pipe and manhole rehabilitation and underlines its commitment to sustainable construction practices. We are proud to introduce this environmentally friendly technology exclusively in our market and see great potential for future projects.
